Haemodialysis is a common form of dialysis. In this process, haemodialyzer is used as an artificial kidney in order to eliminate waste and other harmful chemicals from your blood. Hence, more amount of blood can be filtered and purified.

Haemodialysis takes around 3-5 hours for completion; depending upon the size of the body and the amount of waste in it. Dialysis treatment is carried out three times week. Some people may also require a long term treatment.

If you have an acute kidney disorder, dialysis can be carried out until your kidney issues are resolved. Chronic kidney disorders are very difficult to fix. Dialysis is the only option until then.
